ROMANTIC ENGAGEMENT AT THE GILMOUR


When Maddy and Mike told me their very first night out together was in Ottawa at The Gilmour, I said no more — we absolutely had to capture their engagement session there. We planned a fun, urban engagement session downtown, exploring the city streets before stopping at the bar that started it all. As an engagement photographer in Ottawa, I always tell my couples: choose a place that means something to you, and the magic will follow.

URBAN ENGAGEMENT PHOTO SESSION


We began outside with the city lights and that classic downtown charm, giving their engagement photos in Ottawa a modern, romantic feel.  The energy was playful and full of excitement — lots of laughter, hand-holding, and those sweet “I can’t believe we’re getting married” moments. It felt like we were recreating the beginning of their love story, but this time with a ring on her finger.
